Ilya Fridman is the founder and CEO of Reefa Sp. z o.o. — a B2B cleaning company headquartered in Krakow, Poland. Born in Kyiv, he moved to Krakow in 2015 and has lived and worked in the city ever since.
The idea for Reefa came from a personal observation. Ilya's mother occasionally took side jobs in cleaning, and that's when he saw how much the Polish B2B cleaning market lacked clear standards — most providers had no quality control, no reporting, and unstable staffing. "I decided to build a company that would fill those gaps," Ilya says.
He founded the company in 2020. Since then Reefa has expanded from Krakow to Katowice and the Silesian Agglomeration, with its model — permanent staff, dedicated coordinator per property, and a QR-code feedback system — becoming the firm's signature.
Ilya personally leads scaling — new client acquisition, relationships with large Class A buildings, and strategic direction. He runs the company on two principles: systemization (every process has a documented standard and a control point) and quality control (regular audits, photo documentation, monthly reports).
He holds an up-to-date OSH (BHP) certification. He speaks Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and English fluently — letting him serve Polish, international and Ukrainian-speaking clients directly.
