How often are stairwells cleaned?

Most often 1–3 times a week. Tenements and small blocks usually need once a week, blocks with a lift and heavy traffic — 2–3 times, and high-standard apartment buildings order even daily service. Frequency can be changed mid-contract by an annex, without penalties.

Who can order stairwell cleaning?

A housing community (by board decision or resolution), a cooperative, a property manager on behalf of managed buildings, and a private tenement owner. We bill with a VAT invoice; for portfolio managers we issue one collective invoice or separate ones per building.

What does standard stairwell cleaning include?

Sweeping and mopping stairs, landings and half-landings, cleaning handrails, entrance doors, mailboxes and lift cabins, wiping wainscoting and sills, and removing flyers. Stairwell windows are cleaned quarterly, and basements, pram rooms and pavements — in an extended scope, priced transparently.

Is stairwell window cleaning included in the price?

Yes — as standard we schedule stairwell window cleaning quarterly and it's part of the monthly rate. More frequent cleaning or hard-to-reach windows (skylights, storey glazing) are quoted as a separate item, always before work starts.

Do you also clean around the building and clear snow in winter?

Yes, as a contract extension: sweeping and washing pavements, emptying bins, seasonal green-area care, and snow clearing and gritting of walkways in winter. Full building service with outdoor areas is described on the apartment block and housing community pages.

How can residents report issues?

Via the QR code placed in the stairwell — the report goes straight to our coordinator, bypassing the manager. We respond at the next service at the latest, and in urgent cases (broken glass, flooding) we arrange a same-day visit.

How does this differ from apartment block and community cleaning?

Stairwell cleaning is the building interior — stairs, handrails, lifts, doors, mailboxes. Apartment block and housing community service additionally covers outdoor areas: greenery, pavements, bin shelters, garages and snow clearing. Many communities start with stairwells and extend the scope after the first months.
